In 1993, Kevin embarked on his real estate career, becoming a top selling agent, trainer and eventually managing over 100 agents at a large brokerage firm. Wanting to provide a better customer experience, Kevin founded Batdorf & Associates, Inc. in 1999 with his partner Kathy.

Prior to working as a Realtor, Kevin had been working in sales for most of his life. Having experience in customer service, manufacturing and task management, he co-founded Sun Time, a company that focused on the design, manufacture and marketing of college and licensed logo watches. As president, Kevin oversaw the growth from a novelty company to a major player in the watch industry.
Kathy has taken pride in helping her clients as a full-time Realtor since 1999 when she and her partner Kevin started Batdorf & Associates, Inc.
Kathy believes that impeccable communication is at the heart of every successful sale. She appreciates and understands her clients’ needs to make informed decisions at every step of the home buying and selling process. Kathy’s uncompromising attention to detail, vigorous work ethic, knowledgeable professionalism and sharp negotiating skills continue to exceed her clients’ expectations.
Kathy has a deep-rooted love for this community, and she considers herself fortunate to be able to raise her family in the same area she has lived all her life. Kathy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of South Florida. She was awarded the Certified Negotiating Expert (CNE) designation by the National Association of Realtors.
Rich comes to Batdorf and Associates as a broker-salesman with over 35 years of experience in sales. He is a full time real estate agent who has been licensed since 1981.
Rich has been living in St Petersburg since graduating from Slippery Rock University with a business degree in 1974. Rich is self driven and believes in integrity and values that have always been his business acumen. He has always valued his clients’ confidence, which results in trusting relationships and positive results in business.
Rich spent over 25 years working for major brokerages on Wall St where he was in trading and institutional sales. He owned a retail food and grocery store for about 3 years. For the past 4 years, he has been working in sales and business development in the technology field with a database company and a high end custom software development company. Rich is active in the community through his church, mentoring teenage youth offenders and volunteering with prison ministry. He stays active at Gold’s Gym and City league softball.
